Through the Hospital at Home service of Sharan Home Healthcare, you receive professional, compassionate and personalized medical care, without giving up the warmth and comfort of your home. Here, illness is only part of life, while life itself remains at the center.

Hospital at Home at Sharan
Hospital at Home is a full alternative to traditional inpatient hospitalization. It is a short-term hospitalization lasting several days, delivered by experienced physicians and a highly trained nursing team with advanced expertise. During the hospitalization period, a physician and a nurse visit the patient at home once a day and provide care according to the patient’s medical condition.
Care includes collecting medical information, measuring vital signs such as pulse, temperature, and blood pressure, collecting lab samples, performing a physical examination, creating a treatment plan, providing the required treatment, and offering explanations and guidance to the patient and family members.
The first visit by a medical team member takes place within no more than 4 hours from the moment the referral from the HMO’s is received at our call center.
The nurse is available to patients and their families by phone and WhatsApp 24/7. Patients also have access to the Sharan call center, which operates 24/7 throughout the year, at 1-700-508-586 / 03-5754228.
As needed, the service includes:
- Transfer by ambulance from the hospital to the patient’s home
- Supply of medications and accompanying medical equipment (excluding chronic medication treatments)
- Blood and urine tests performed at home when required
- Remote monitoring of vital signs
- Prescriptions for medications and medical equipment
- Imaging tests, including transportation if required
- Arrangement of an oxygen tank in coordination with Kupat Holim
Hospital at Home care is fully funded by the Kupot Holim and involves no cost for patients who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Health. The service is provided nationwide to members of all HMO’s.

Who is Hospital at Home suitable for?

Common indications
- Respiratory infections, including pneumonia, influenza, bronchitis, and COVID-19
- Urinary tract infection
- Gastrointestinal infection
- Cellulitis, an infection of the skin and soft tissues
- Dehydration
- Severe vomiting during pregnancy
- Exacerbation of heart failure
- Exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Additional medical conditions, subject to clinical judgment
